Automatic Settings:

Set your GPRS on your mobile automatically using your mobile phone, Just text "GO (handset model),,1234" to 2951

Ex. For Nokia 6630 Go Nokia 6300,,1234 then send to 295

Wait for the configuration settings which will be sent to your phone within the next 24 hours.


Manual Settings:

for Nokia s60 and N series.

WAP Settings:

1. Go to Menu->Tools->Settings->Connection->Access points->Options->New Access point->Use default setting.

Enter details for the following parameters.

    Connection name: myGlobe CONNECT

    Data Bearer: Pocket data

    Access point name: www.globe.com.ph

    User name:

    Prompt password: No

    Password:

    Authentication: Normal

    Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc
   
    Press Options then select Advance settings.

Enter details for the following parameters:

    Network type: Ipv4

    Proxy serv. address: 203.177.42.214

    Proxy Port number: 8080

2. Go back to the main menu, select Web, press Options then Settings. Choose myGlobe CONNECT as the default access point.

MMS Settings:

1. Go to Menu->Messaging->Options->Settings->Multimedia message->Access point in use->Options->New access point->Use default settings.

Enter details for the following parameters

    Connection name: myGlobe MMS

    Data Bearer: GPRS

    Access point name: mms.globe.com.ph

    User name:

    Prompt password: No

    Password:

    Authentication: Normal

    Homepage: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
   
    Press Option then select Advance settings.

Enter details for the following parameters:
   
    Proxy serv. address: 203.177.042.214

    Proxy Port Number: 8080

Stream Settings:

2. Go to Menu->Tools->Settings->Connection->Access points->Options->New Access point->Use default setting.

Enter details for the following parameters.

    Connection name: myGlobe stream

    Data Bearer: Packet data

    Access point name: real.globe.com.ph

    User name:

    Prompt password: No

    Password:

    Authentication: Normal

    Press Options then select Advance settings.

Enter details for the following parameters:

    Network type: Ipv4

    Proxy serv. address: None

    Proxy Port number: None

3. Go back to the main menu, Find Real Player Application, press Options then Settings. Choose myGlobe Stream as the default access point.

for Nokia s40 ex. Nokia 3110c

PREFERRED ACCESS POINT

1. Go to Settings>Configuration

2. Choose Personal Configuration and Click Option

3. Choose Add New

4. Choose Access Point

5. Fill up the Parameters:

    Account Name: MyGlobe Connect

    Access Point: Data Bearer: Packet Data

    Bearer Settings:

    Packet Data Access Point: www.globe.com.ph

6. Activate the service to make “MyGlobeConnect “your preferred Access Point.

MYGLOBE STREAM

1. Repeat step 2 and 3

2. Choose Streaming

3. Fill up the Parameters

    Account Name: MyGlobe Stream

    UDP Port Range: 1024-65535

    Preferred Access Point: No

    Access Point Settings

    Proxy: No

    Bearer Settings

    Packet Data Access Point: real.globe.com.ph


MYGLOBE GPRS

1. Go to Settings>Configuration

2. Choose Personal Configuration and Click Option

3. Choose WEB

4. Account Name: MyGlobe GPRS

5. Homepage: www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp

6. Preferred Access Point: NO

7. ACCESS POINT SETTINGS

    Proxy: Enabled

    Proxy Address: 203.177.042.214

    Port: 8080

    Data Bearer: Packet Data

    Bearer Settings

MYGLOBE MMS

1. Go to Settings>Configuration

2. Choose Personal Configuration and Click Option


3. Choose Multimedia Messaging

4. Account Name: myGlobe MMS

5. Server Address: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc

6. Preferred Access Point: NO

7. ACCESS POINT SETTINGS

    Proxy: Enabled

    Proxy Address: 203.177.042.214

    Port: 8080

    Data Bearer: Packet Data

    Bearer Settings

8. Save the settings and activate it in the option menu

MYGLOBE INTERNET

1. Go to Settings>Configuration

2. Choose Personal Configuration and Click Option

3. Choose WEB

4. Account Name: MyGlobe INTERNET

5. Homepage: www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp

6. Preferred Access Point: NO

7. ACCESS POINT SETTINGS

    Proxy: Enabled

    Proxy Address: None

    Port: 0

    Data Bearer: Packet Data

Motorola:


Configure WAP Over GPRS

1. Go to Menu by pressing middle button .

2. Select Settings then WAP Profile.

3. Select Set profile then select one profile name. Select Rename, enter myGlobe GPRS as

the profile.

4. Select Edit > Bearer Type then GPRS. Enter details for the following parameters.

    User Name:

    Password:

    APN: www.globe.com.ph

5. Press back twice then select WAP Settings. Enter details for the following parameters.

Network Integration and Change Control

    Primary IP: 203.177.42.214

    Primary Port: 8080

    Secondary IP:

    Secondary Port:

    Timer: 60 (user dependent)

    Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc

6. Press Back twice then select Set default.

7. To initiate WAP over GPRS, go to Menu>More then select Browser.


MMS SETTINGS

1. Go to Menu by pressing middle button .

2. Select Message then Message settings.

3. Select Inbox setup then Multimedia Msg Setup.

4. Select Service Profile then MMS settings. Select one profile then edit. Enter details for the

following parameters.

    User Name:

    Password:

    APN: mms.globe.com.ph

5. Press back twice then select WAP Settings. Enter details for the following parameters.

    Primary IP: 192.40.100.20

    Primary Port: 9201

    Secondary IP:

    Secondary Port:

    Timer: 60 (user dependent)

    Homepage: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc



Samsung:



GPRS SETTINGS

1. From Menu, choose Browser> Profile Settings

2. Choose Profile 1. Press Select to edit.

    Profile name: MyGlobe CONNECT

    Home URL: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp

    Bearer: GPRS only

    Proxy: Enable

3. Click GPRS Settings

    Proxy IP: 203.177.042.214

    Proxy Port: 8080

    APN: www.globe.com.ph

    LOGIN ID:

    Password:

4. Click Save

5. From Browser, go to Current profile and choose MyGlobe CONNECT

INTERNET SETTINGS

1. From Menu, choose Browser> Profile Settings

2. Choose Profile 2. Press Select to edit.

    Profile name: MyGlobe INTERNET

    Home URL: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp

    Bearer: GPRS only

    Proxy: NO

3. Click GPRS Settings

    DNS1: 0.0.0.0

    DNS2: 0.0.0.0

    APN: internet.globe.com.ph

    LOGIN ID:

    Password:

4. Click Save

5. You may choose MyGlobe Internet by changing Current Profile settings


MMS SETTINGS

1. From Menu, Go to Messages> Settings> Multimedia Messages>Multimedia message profile> Profile settings.

2. Choose Profile 1 and Press Select to edit.

    Profile name: MyGlobe MMS

    Server URL: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc

    Proxy: Enable

3. Click GPRS settings. Enter following parameters

    IP address: 203.177.42.214

    Port: 8080

    APN: mms.globe.com.ph

    Login ID:

    Password:

4. Press save twice, then press Back.

5. Go to Current profile and select myGlobe MMS


Sony Ericssion:

GPRS SETTINGS

1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings>Connectivity

2. Go to Data Accounts

3. Create New Account. GPRS/ PS Data

    Account Name: MyGlobe GPRS

    APN: www.globe.com.ph

4. Save Account

5. Go to Internet Settings

6. Create New Profile

    Name: MyGlobe WAP

    Connect Using: MyGlobe GPRS

7. Save Profile

8. Select the profile MyGlobe WAP in Internet Profile

9. Click Right Soft Key to Choose More and Select Settings

    Internet Mode: HTTP

    Use Proxy: Yes

    Proxy Address: 203.177.042.214

    Port Number: 8080

10. Save Settings and repeat Step 9 but this time choose Advance Settings

11. Change Homepage

    Title: MyGlobe

    Address: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp

12. Save Changes


MyGlobe Internet Settings

1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings>Connectivity

2. Go to Data Accounts

3. Create New Account. GPRS/ PS Data

    Account Name: MyGlobe INTERNET

    APN: internet.globe.com.ph

4. Save Account


MyGlobe MMS Settings

1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings>Connectivity

2. Go to Data Accounts

3. Create New Account. GPRS/ PS Data

    Account Name: MyGlobe MMS

    APN: mms.globe.com.ph

4. Save Account


5. Go to Internet Settings

6. Create New Profile

    Name: MyGlobe MMS

    Connect Using: MyGlobe MMS

7. Save Profile

8. Select the profile MyGlobe MMS in Internet Profile

9. Click Right Soft Key to Choose More and Select Settings

    Internet Mode: HTTP

    Use Proxy: Yes

    Proxy Address: 203.177.042.214

    Port Number: 8080

10. Save Settings

11. Go to Messaging>Settings> Picture Message

12. Edit Message Server

13. From Message Settings, make your Internet Profile: MyGlobe MMS


MyGlobe Stream Settings

1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings>Connectivity

2. Go to Data Accounts

3. Create New Account. GPRS/PS Data

    Account Name: MyGlobe Stream

    APN: real.globe.com.ph

4. Save Account

5. Go to Streaming Settings

6. Make MyGlobe Stream your default APN.

Connect Using: MyGlobe Stream

Create Hidden Folder Real Invisible

There are many ways to hide a folder. This is useful for hiding files specially it is not seen even you activate view hidden folder so it is really hidden, invisible and ghost type of folder.  Go to start -> search -> type “character map ” , launch it ( go to RUN-> charmap.exe-> enter) Choose the blank symbol (Just below alphabet “k”).Click it and Now Select it(click on Select button below) and Copy (Click on Copy burtton).
